  5. Hello Natasha and everyone, I am new to Mireille's world and cannot believe how much great music she has brought. I have been listening to the songs here and they are just wonderful. I can't think why her cd's are impossible to find anywhere. I have seen some great songs of hers from YouTube but cannot find the audio versions even here. I refer to the glorious Je ne suis rien sans toi, the beautiful Adieu je t"aime, and the charming Je Suis Seul Ce Soir. Can anyone help? Thankyou.

  8. Dear Anonymous, I wish I could help you, because I can relate to your feelings. I discovered Mireille on YouTube and I was overwhelmed. I also discovered that I couldn't find CD's anywhere... The repertoire is so great that it's not surprising that it can be hard to find certain songs (for example, I don't think I've heard "Je suis seule ce soir" yet). But Natasha's blog is great! And you can find CD's at Amazon (.com, .de and .fr).

  9. natasha,

i would like to thank you for having this album here, when i was a young girl it was tradition to play a certain Christmas tape while decorating our tree and opening presents, this album was on one side and Kenny Rogers white Christmas on the other. My mother was a french Canadian, but did not raise me and my sister to speak french. my mother passed away 9 years ago, and when she did, that traditional tape disappeared! so thanks to you i have that traditional sound back, to bring me back to those special memories, so thank you again for having this!

  11. years ago I had an album of hers. One song I remember sung in English ( can't remember title) was Stephane or the words Oh Stefane were in the song... not sure. I still hear the tune in my head. wish i could find it.

      Jim,
I have a vinyl album recorded live in Canada which has this, as well as a heap of others, some in English - it is a double album. The album is called "Mireille Mathieu - En Concert Au Canada", don't know if you can find it anywhere now, though. Unfortunately I don't have it digitally, but if you really want it (and any of the others), I can maybe transfer it to a CD for you. Let me know at this email address 'robalfdavis@hotmail.com'

    2. "Sweet Souvenirs of Stefan" and "Je suis seule ce Soir" are both on her new 3 dvd compilation of "Liebe Lebt", easiest to find right now. Can even buy(?) on her site: mireillemathieu.com. otherwiseamazon, discogs (also best for discography info) and ebay.
